Overview
DSB Technologies offers short and long-term disability insurance to employees working at least 36 hours per week through The Hartford. In the event that you become disabled from a non-work-related injury or sickness, disability income benefits are provided as a source of income. You are not eligible to receive short-term disability benefits if you are receiving workers’ compensation benefits.

Voluntary Long-Term Disability Coverage (Hourly Employees)
Long-Term Disability (LTD) provides a partial salary replacement for eligible full-time hourly employees who are absent from work for an extended period of time due to a qualified illness or non-work related injury. This benefit begins after Short-Term Disability is exhausted.
LTD benefits received are reduced by State Disability Income (SDI) for employees residing in states with a State Disability Program, Workers’ Compensation, and Social Security.
